Upper Ruxley Cattery was first established in 1988. It is located in peaceful rural surroundings. The current owners took over the boarding cattery during August 2002. The cattery is now increasingly popular, well-respected and highly recommended for cat care.

Here is a safe home for your companion cat whilst you are away on holiday, moving house, working abroad, your hospitalisation or for any other reason.

We take in owner’s cats from a large catchment area of Southeast London and Northwest Kent. We are fully licensed by the Dartford Borough Council in accordance with the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963 for catteries. Our boarding cattery is regularly inspected to ensure that a high standard of accommodation and care is maintained at all times.

Look before you book. New clients are welcomed and encouraged to view our cattery before they make their first booking. Please telephone us during our opening hours for a viewing inspection appointment. Our last viewing appointment is 30 minutes before our closing time.When viewing boarding catteries you need to feel comfortable and assured that your cat is secure and being properly looked after. This also gives you the opportunity to discuss any individual needs your cat may require. We are mindful that clients have a choice when they are choosing a boarding cattery for their loved cat(s). Boarding catteries (sometimes called Cat hotels) vary in standards and outlooks.
