Directions to Cattery

From London / Sidcup / Footscray

  1. From Ruxley Roundabout (A223 & A211) travel towards Swanley along the B2173 Maidstone Road.  (The B2173 runs parallel with the A20).  You will pass Ruxley Manor Garden Centre on your right and Honeydale Farm on your left.  Further on you will also pass ATR Van Hire & Tyres on your right.  Just passed Hillside Nursery on your left is a small lane (unmade single track lane) with boards displaying Goodview Kennels and Timbertops Equestrian Centre below which is a white sign with blue letters for Upper Ruxley Cottage and Cattery.  There is also a bus stop bay and red mailbox at this point.  (If you get to the traffic lights at the derelict Déjà vu Night-club and Kings Garage you have passed the turning and need to back track.)
  2. Turn left into this lane and continue along it for about ¼ of a mile and you will find us on the right.  Follow our sign.  You will go passed a turning on your right to Goodview/Timbertops. 

From Swanley

  1. From Swanley take the B2173 towards Sidcup and Footscray passed Dejar Ve Night-club on your right at Birchwood traffic lights.  Passed the slip road for the A20 on your left.  After the brow of the hill is a small lane (unmade single track lane) on your left with boards displaying Goodview Kennels and Timbertops Equestrian Centre below which is a white sign with blue letters for Upper Ruxley Cottage and Cattery.  There is also a bus stop bay and red mailbox at this point. (If you get to ATR Van Hire & Tyres on your left you have passed the turning and need to back track.)
  2. Turn right into this lane and continue along it for about ¼ of a mile and you will find us on the right.  Follow our sign.  You will go passed a turning on your right to Goodview/Timbertops.

  1. Nearest train station: Swanley or Sidcup.  Then bus or cab.
  2. Bus route 233 stops at the end of the lane.  Ask for Hillside Nursery bus stop.
